Fatma Memici completed her B.A in New Media Department with a double major in Psychology at Kadir Has University in Istanbul. Currently, she is a Master’s candidate in Communication Sciences at the same university. In her thesis, she explores the soft power effect of the Turkish series aired in Serbia and reaching many people through fan groups.
During her undergraduate years, she worked as a volunteer research assistant in various research and social responsibility projects. She did internships in psychology labs, psychological counseling centers, and social media agencies.
After graduation, she worked as a social media manager and freelance copywriter for a while. She is now working as a researcher in research titled “Prejudices Attributed to Countercultures and Memorizing Media Contents in Long-Term Memory” supported by the TUBITAK 2209-A program.
